ABOUT ME
I've always been a voracious reader and a passionate writer. Back in school, English was my favourite subject, and I even wrote a book at the age of eleven as a school project. From as early as I can remember, I dreamed of being an author.
With my dad’s encouragement, I completed a Writing & Editing course through TAFE NSW in 2005. Sadly, he passed away suddenly the following year. As an only child, I took on the responsibility of caring for my mum, while also raising my eldest son as a single mum.
Over time, I allowed the opinions of others to steer me away from my own dreams. I found myself endlessly searching—jumping from one job or business idea to the next. Each step brought me a little closer to my passion, and I tried convincing myself it was “close enough”. But deep down, I knew it wasn’t.
Now, I’ve finally listened to my heart and soul, and Reads on the Road is the result. Better late than never, as they say.
Today, I’m a wife, a proud mum of two incredible boys, and a very lucky nanny to two beautiful grandchildren.
I homeschool my youngest son, and as a family , camping and caravanning is our favourite way to relax and holiday. We’ve just purchased a brand new van, so we’re looking forward to many more adventures on the road along with our two Cavoodles Baxter & Bob.
While travelling, I’ll be indulging in my love for reading and writing, and hopefully completing my first novel—all while soaking up precious moments with my family and making beautiful memories. It truly is a dream come true.
