Hey There

Hi, I’m Janene Morgan — a reader, writer, reviewer, and artist based in Australia, and the creator behind Reads on the Road. Creativity has always been part of who I am.  From a young age, I dreamed of writing books, creating art, and surrounding myself with stories, but like many people, life took a few detours through family responsibilities, work, and the busyness of everyday life.

 

Now, I’m finally following the creative path I always hoped for. Alongside sharing book reviews and reader recommendations through Reads on the Road, I’ve published my own writing and rediscovered my love of creating botanical-inspired mixed media art inspired by nature, quiet moments, and the small towns and landscapes we explore while travelling Australia in our caravan as a family.

 

When I’m not reading, writing, or creating, you’ll usually find me with a coffee nearby, planning our next road trip, or searching for inspiration in the beauty of everyday life.
