The Swiss Chocolatier by Leanne Lovegrove is the kind of story you devour like a box of fine chocolates – addictive, indulgent, and totally satisfying.
Sapphire Banks never expected to find herself in the breathtaking town of Hallstatt, let alone working under Europe’s most successful chocolatier – and her ex-fiancé – James White. He left without a word all those years ago, and now he’s a millionaire with a model girlfriend and a world-class chocolate empire. But all isn’t as it seems.
From the moment Sapphire arrives, the tension between them is palpable, and the chemistry is undeniable. As they’re forced to work together, secrets begin to surface – the kind that could make or break both of them.
This book has everything I love in a great romance – second chances, emotional tension, a touch of mystery, and yes…chocolate! The setting is rich and immersive, and I couldn’t get enough of Sapphire – strong, determined, and more talented than she gives herself credit for. And her love of dogs made her all the more relatable.
James might seem cold at first, but the more his layers are peeled back, the more I warmed to him. He’s complex, guarded, but ultimately good-hearted.
Just like the best chocolate, this novel is a perfect blend of bitter and sweet – and I enjoyed every single morsel.
Due to be released 5 September 2025 - preorder now.
